Honorary Consul participated in press conference on Ukraine

Honorary Consul Dana Bucin participated in Senator's Richard Blumenthal press conference on Ukraine’s inclusion in NATO on July 14 at the Ukrainian National Home in Hartford, calling for Ukraine’s NATO membership, more weapons and humanitarian aid.  Honorary Consul offered remarks in support of Ukraine, Ukrainian refugees, and the Ukrainian Adjustment Act.
On this occasion Honorary Consul also had the opportunity to reiterate Romania’s firm support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity in its internationally recognized borders.
As one of US & NATO’s strongest allies in the region, Romania helps Ukraine in its efforts to repel the Russian aggression in various ways, including multidimensional support to Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees since the start of the full-scale invasion, facilitating transit of grains through Black Sea ports, supplying fuel and generators, facilitating transit of international assistance.
