At the invitation of the U.S. Department of Commerce, on September 11 2023, the Honorary Consul Dana Bucin presented on commercial opportunities for Connecticut-based companies to export to Romania, invest in Romania or otherwise do business with Romania in the defense, aerospace, IT, agribusiness and several other sectors.  Positioning your company to take advantage of Central & Eastern European locations is also beneficial for future reconstruction efforts in Ukraine.  There were several one-on-one meetings with interested companies who see Romania as a good business proposition.
