March 15: Grand Opening for the Alina's Cakes and Cookies in Westport, Connecticut

The Honorary Consul Dana Bucin attended the Grand Opening for the Romanian woman-owned bakery Alina's Cakes and Cookies in Westport, Connecticut alongside Westport’s First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker, State Representative Jonathan P. Steinberg, Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce representatives, and several other officials, Romanian community members and friends of Alina’s business.  Alina's delicious European pastries and cookies - include special Romanian treats such as “savarine” and “diplomat”.  You can find those - and more - at Alina’s, made with real, fresh whipped cream.
Like several other Romanian businesses in CT, Alina’s employs Ukrainian refugees.
